Capri Swing Orchestra

Orchestra lead by Lello Pugliese who created the group in the 1980s as the 'Swing Orchestra' for the opening of the famous Rosalino Club in Naples. Shortly afterwards, for the wedding celebrations of a well known American celebrity, held at the Grand Hotel Quisisana in Capri, the orchestra was renamed the 'Capri Swing Orchestra'. The band, which is comprised of a total of 14 elements, with string and wind sections, specialises in the repertoires of the great swing orchestras but also performs latin american, disco music from the 60s, 70s and 80s, International pop music, Italian easy listening, and songs from the classical Neapolitan tradition as well as tangos, waltzes, and other ballroom dance music.

Capri Swing Band

A smaller version of the Capri Swing Orchestra. Despite the reduced number of components, the band performs the music of the big ballroom orchestras, having the same repertoire as the Capri Swing Orchestra. Vocals and piano - Lello Pugliese.
